El Dorado DA clears cop who killed mentally ill woman
Placerville Police Officer Nick Maurer got the call at 10:15 on a Sunday morning in March: A mentally ill patient had stolen an ambulance from the local hospital and was on the move.
A Marshall hospital video used in the investigation by El Dorado County's district attorney shows Linda Clark before she stole an ambulance on March 28. She was killed by Officer Nick Maurer that morning.
