We use RSS feeds to gather headlines for news stories on various websites around the world. Dynamic server processes check to see how fresh the headlines are for each category on the page you have selected. If the links for a given news site are older than 60 minutes, then the site is contacted to include links to the latest news items.

If you leave your web browser on any news page, a timer will refresh the page for you every 15 minutes. This means you'll always have access to the latest news stories, or current weather conditions, just by leaving a web browser on one of our pages.
